General rules:

Online Workshops

  1. Attendees are expected to log into Zoom in time before the scheduled time of the event. The Zoom link and password will be email to you well in advance.
  2. If you need to cancel your attendance to an event, you can, we will refund your money if you cancel 2 hours before the meeting. However, a cancellation fee of 10% will be borne by you.
  3. If an organiser cancels the event, we will refund the full amount to you.
  4. Instamojo is our payment partner. Please check out their credentials here - www.instamojo.com
  5. In case you are unable to attend the workshop, and haven't managed to cancel your attendance 2 hours before the workshop, you will be considered as a No Show.
  6. In this case, 50% of the workshop amount would be refunded to you (the attendee) after deducting a cancellation fee of 10%. 50% will be paid to the organiser.


Offline Workshops

  1. Attendees are expected to reach the venue well in time before the scheduled time of the event.

  2. For paid events, the fee includes Rs 300, that you can redeem for F&B at any Doolally Taproom in Mumbai. You will receive it as a code in an email from us, along with your booking confirmation details. However, if you are using a discount coupon code, your fee will not include F&B.
    For free events, we don't levy a cover charge. You can place an F&B order and settle your bill at the end of the event.

  3. You will also be given access to a dashboard. This is where you can contact the organisers or us for more details. You can also cancel your attendance here.

  4. Doolally will bear the 3% payment gateway fees except during cancellations by either the organiser or attendee.

  5. If you need to cancel your attendance to an event, you can, we will refund your money. However, the payment gateway transaction fee of 3% will be borne by you.

Welcome Spring - Watercolour Workshop
This is a workshop like no other! Not only will it teach you how to have fun with watercolours, one of the most fluid, expressive and low maintenance medium of painting, it will also introduce you to some basic tenets of drawing right at the start of the workshop so that you can imbibe it in your regular practice. Some of the introductory concepts we will cover include: • Composition & Subject • Colour and Value • Perspective • Light and Shadow After talking about the importance and principles of drawings in creating an artwork, we will move onto implementing it by creating a value sketch, followed by the actual painting using watercolours. • Both the value sketch and the main artwork will be preceded by a demo by the artist, followed by ample time for students to paint the same picture. • Questions will be tackled as they arise as this will be a very immersive and interactive workshop. Each student will be provided a personal commentary on his /her attempted artwork and if there is not sufficient time during the workshop, the artist will be available to provide this commentary offline. • Materials will be provided and the students can take their artwork home.
